Info for authors
Sciencia Acta Xaveriana (SAX)-an International Research Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences aims at publication of original research papers, comprehensive review articles, book-reviews, dissertation abstracts etc. devoted to any area in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics).
Manuscripts (in pdf) must be submitted electronically to the Managing Editor through: saxeditor2009@gmail.com No hard copy should be sent.
Submitted manuscripts must not have been published nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Publication of paper in the journal automatically transfers the copyrights from the authors to the publisher.
All manuscripts should be sent electronically in either pdf format, type set in English. The file must be prepared using La-TeX processing system. The paper should contain the following headings:
- Title
- Author/Authors name
- Institution with address and E-mail
- Summary with not more than 250 words
- Keywords –Minimum three and Maximum five
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods (B/W or colour, JPEG files of all photographs)
- Results/observations
- Discussion
- References
- Appendix (if any)
- Tables
- Figures - Illustrations or photos
All accepted papers should be prepared in LaTeX and submitted in journal template. Sample Format and Sample PDF
Subscription:
- The subscription charges are as follows:
- For Individuals :Rs.1000 (in India) US $150 (airmail)
- For Institutions: Rs. 5000 (in India) US $300 (air mail)
- Subscription orders along with a Demand Draft drawn in favor of "ScienciaActaXaveriana" payable at Tirunelveli, may please be sent to the Managing Editor.
- Reprint charges: Authors are requested to arrange reprint charges of their papers of US $100 from their institutions/research grants. However, for authors in India this charge is Rs. 1000 per paper. Ten reprints will be sent to the author(s).
- Disclaimer: Opinions expressed are those of their authors and not the responsibility of the Board, the Editors or the publisher. All disputes arising, if any, are subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent court in Palayamkottai, Tamilnadu, India.
