The Department of Business Administration was started in June 2006. Since its inception, the department has been catering to the requirements of students aiming at joining corporate entities and pursuing higher education in management and other professional courses like Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) and The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). The Department is very keen in updating the curriculum in accordance with the emerging requirements of corporate world and also equipping the students to appear in the different entrance examinations meant for getting admission in MBA and in this regard required orientation is given to face the entrance examinations like CAT, MAT and TANCET.
In order to develop the talents of students, an inter-collegiate State Level Management Meet named MEXPO (Management Exposure) is conducted every year. The intellectual caliber of student is further accelerated by organizing seminars and workshops on the topics of global managerial importance. The students are highly encouraged to undertake Industrial Visit often and Summer Internship Programme is a mandatory part of the BBA degree. The department has four competent teachers with the expected qualifications and industrial exposure.
